Course Summary:The Japanese Communication program uses CLT (Communicative Language Teaching) methodology to empower the learner with the skills required to communicate effectively in Japanese. The GEOS Montreal Curriculum is made up of 15 20-hours levels, followed by JLPT preparation classes. Beginner to Intermediate: Introduces the learner to basic structures, verb tenses, small talk, and conversational techniques. At the completion of the course, the learner will be able to carry on simple conversations in Japanese, to understand basic instructions and to discuss topics such as weather, prices, likes and dislikes. Advanced: Builds on the skills of the Beginner and Intermediate classes, developing more complex sentence structures and strengthening vocabulary, improving pronunciation, self-expression and listening comprehension. The Advanced Class also allows the student to develop a better understanding of the formal use of Japanese. We also have the JLPT Preparation Course available. ![]() Hi my name Alexandra and I am from Slovakia. If you are looking for some school, where you can learn and improve your English, Geos is your best choice. I spent here 2 months and it was the best part of my life. I will never forget about it. I found many many friends from all over the world. I love everybody in Geos because they are friendly, helpful and soooooooooooooooooo funny :) I learned a lot here especially about different countries and English of course :D Mimi and Jeanne were my teachers and we had a lot of fun. It easier to learn English when you like it, and your teachers make it more interesting.I had perfect a homestay family. I stayed with Anita who used to teach in Geos and we called her crazy mama. She showed us nice places, introduced us to her friends and family. She did the best to provide us perfect conditions for fun and for study of course :)Thank you for everything you have done, I hope see you soon as possible :) Alexandra Riskova |
